For 2008, the PSP is getting another minor makeover: The PSP 3000 gets an improved screen (better color reproduction and, possibly, less glare), a built-in microphone (to increase the usability of its onboard Skype functionality), and better video output support (you can now play games on non-HDTV hookups). Otherwise, the 3000 is all but identical to its predecessor. But if you're looking for a sturdy portable device that offers great graphics, solid multimedia performance, and more sophisticated games than Nintendo DS Lite.
