pushed the envelope in regards to memory cooling and

New slides from a Japanese website are AMD’s
roadmap for all platforms (CPU, GPU, IGP, Chipset) up
to 2011. The biggest surprise is the 2010 GPU with a die shrink towards 32nm. The rumored codenames were Park, Madison and Broadway.

Mushkin has announced two new additions to its
Blackline memory kit series, 8GB dual channel and 12GB
triple channel kits. Both meant for use with Intel chipsets, but we guess that 8GB dual channel one could work with AMD as well.

The system successfully ran wPrime as well as
a memory bandwidth test, in which it reached almost
42GB/s. (Socket G34 systems are supposed to have four memory channels, so if my math is right, 42GB/s is pretty much the theoretical maximum with 1,333MHz DDR3).

Intel is set to release a new model
Core 2 Duo E6600 processor. I remember buying one
years ago when it was clock at I think it was 2.4 GHz. The new E6600 will now be tagged under the Pentium processor label and is based on a 45nm Core 2 Duo core.
