VIA reportedly working on dual-core Nano
Fudzilla — ... when it decides to let vendors use dual-core Atoms in netbooks. The new CPU will use a faster 1333MHz VIA V4 bus, feature 128kb of L1 and 1MB of L2 cache and retain the Nano BGA package. Unlike Intel's Atom, it will be built in 65nm, although the company is considering transitioning to 40 or 45nm at a later date. VIA will also release a single-core version of the CPU, dubbed VIA Nano 3000, probably before the Nano 3000 dual-core appears sometime in the second half of 2009. More here .
