  Why are they considering this? Atom is a decent processor, they need to work on getting more storage to these machines, not a slightly better processor.

Acer Considering non-Atom Options for Upcoming Nettops

The silicon giant is already dealing with massive back-orders, backlog and stock shortages for the amount of demand the Atom has created.
