Acer's 10-inch Inspire One goes in sale in Taiwan

Digitimes is suggesting that the new 10-inch models should hit the rest of the world "mid-February" according to its sources and as this is in about a week or two, we think they're pretty much spot on. It’s expected that large volume shipments for larger, global markets will begin in mid-February. Acer’s Chairman J.T. Wang also stated that Acer is looking to adopt strong policies toward promoting netbooks in 2009, with a target of shipping 12-15 million units.
