This looks like it fits into a 5.25" external bay. Would be nice if it does. I would love to have one of these in my computer.

A waste of money. This multifunction device requires two on-board USB connections, one for the two USB ports and one for the card reader. One should be enough. It lacks the capability of being able to connect USB in more than one way. Its only way is to connect to the motherboard USB port but it lacks an alternate way to connect to a port on the back of a USB card if there is no available USB port on the motherboard, I could not find any port on the motherboard to connect the sound which is important to me. I would have preferred that the sound go through the USB connection. There was no manual included to show how the multifunction device was to be connected. I can't find out how the fans are supposed to be connected. Nomally fans are connected to the motherboard and controlled from there. But I don't know whether the fans are supposed to be connected to the multifunction device wires or whether the device wires are supposed to be connected to the motherboard in which case, the fans would have to be directly connected to the molex power cables. All in all, not well designed. Perhaps it will work on some motherboards with three or more USB connectors
