AMD's MultiView On Linux
AMDZone Frontpage —
Phoronix literally looks at multiple displays under Linux with AMD's MultiView. Aside from the aforementioned limitations, we also ran into a few other bugs with MultiView. Some of the issues were as simple as the numbered display boxes in AMDCCCLE layered on top of each other that made it hard to view. With the four displays we used, two of them were 1280 x 1024 LCDs while the third was running at 1680 x 1050 and the fourth at 1920 x 1200. This complicated matters and had caused a few issues as you can see from the various photographs of this test setup.
