    I really can't wait for the X58 chipset motherboards to drop in price. They are worth it, but wow they are expensive.

    I guess we can wait for P55 though. This chipset will probably be more entry-level than this extreme performance motherboard.

This really was the expected result. The Intel offering was able to gain about the same overclock but did so with a much lower baseclock frequency that results in less memory bandwidth and performance in real tasks and games.
