Fujitsu Siemens has unveiled its zero-watt Esprimo 7935 desktop computer, this system has a 89 percent efficient power supply and promises to use no power at all when it's powered off. Traditional desktop PCs consume between 1W and 4W when powered off, unless you pull the power plug. The system is conform to the upcoming Energy Star 5.0 standard, and has a motherboard with no halogen or lead.
Little was shared about the specifications of the system, but we do know it should be available later this year for 600-700EUR. ...
