An updated version of the second-gen 80GB X25-M SSD has popped up in Newegg's listings, and it's available now. The e-tailer doesn't appear to stock other "G2" Intel SSDs, though, and it charges a premium for that 80GB drive you'll have to pay $349.99 before shipping if you order now. Intel quoted a bulk price of $225 at launch, and if we recall correctly, Newegg charged around $230 the first batch of drives. High demand and tight supply are probably to blame in this case.
