Overclockers Club news Feed — Lexar Media has announced the newest release in the line of Crucial solid-state disks (SSDs). The M225 is now the fastest and highest capacity drive available from Crucial. The drive is in the standard 2.5-inch form factor and sports a SATA 2.0 (3Gb/s) connection. MLC NAND flash memory is used for the M225 line and the flagship 256GB model is able to achieve read speeds of 250MB/s and write speeds of 200MB/s (read and write speeds diminish slightly as drive capacity drops).
