I4U News — ... Good news, gadget geeks and geekettes: the Nokia Booklet is not going to be a ridiculously expensive piece of gear that no one without a trust fund can afford. Information has come out (via Engadget ) that the Booklet 3G will be available starting October 22, for $299 with a 2 year AT contract. That's much less then the $700-800 we'd been expecting, as is the unsubsidized price of $600. Still, the Booklet won't be cheap. $300 is a very fair netbook price, but you'll also be paying $60 a month for AT 's data plan. That brings the total cost up substantially, to around $1700 ...
