It's smaller stature in no way is a reflection on the performance that is delivered by this card - it just eases the minds of those who have a smaller chassis and are looking for an upgrade path. The only down side I have on the 5800 series is the fact that while the 5850 has much improved cooling with its two heatpipe equipped heatsink, the fan noise is still there.
