While not an incredible difference from the original GDDR3 version insofar as performance, it is definitely one to look at if considering an HD4670. I am in the market for such a card and did not realize it existed until reading this article, so thanks for the heads up!

Hmm, interesting results here. Clearly even the GDDR4 HD4670 is no match for the older HD3850 in many of the tests, contrary to what is heard alot around the web. Still, considering the much lower power consumption and quieter cooling, the HD4670 is still a good choice for small towers........
