The recall covers adapters with the model number VGP-AC19V17, which came with Sony Vaio VGC-LT- and VGC-JS2-series laptops sold after September 2007. Sony also bundled those same adapters with VGP-PRBX1 and VGP-PRFE1 docking stations sold after September 2005. If the model number at the top right of your adapter's label matches the above, then head down to the recall page on Sony's website and follow the instructions. You should get a replacement free of charge. ...
