The question is if it will be possible to upgrade the RC1 to a retail version of Windows 7 and we have a feeling that this won't be the case, especially as Microsoft says that "You ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use" on the RC1 download page. The Windows 7 RC will be available for download until and unspecified date in June, and you can download it from here
