The heatsink is mounted behind the VDDC chokes, and covers the most significant set of MOSFETs on the card. It uses push-pin retention mechanism. The use of this heatsink is recommended by Zalman, when users opt for their compatible GPU heatsinks that don't cover the card's VRM area. It will arrive at stores very soon. Source: Expreview

Zalman debuts MOSFET heatsink for Radeon HD 4870/4890
DV Hardware — Zalman introduced the ZM-RHS90, a new aluminum heatsink designed to cool the MOSFET area on ATI Radeon HD 4870 and 4890 based graphics cards with custom coolers. The ZM-RHS90 is made of pure aluminum for lightness, and offers high-performance cooling. You may install the heatsink by pushpins, which is apparently much easier. Zalman Releases VRM Heat Sink
Overclockers Club news Feed — ... Zalman, a Korean company that produces aftermarket coolers has released a new phase cooler for the Radeon HD 4870 and 4890’s VRM. This might be useful as overclocking does increase the amount of power usage, and I’m sure that the VRM will get quite hot – so seems like Zalman might have something here! The heat sink is made from pure aluminium, which isn’t the most conductive metal but is cheap to manufacture and lightweight (55g). Thermaltake will be releasing one too, so hopefully we can see some reviews soon. ...
