Despite AT&T’s lawsuit against Verizon, more commercials go live bashing AT&T’s coverage. They aired three new commercials this weekend featuring the allegedly dismal 3G coverage of AT&T’s service. The new Verizon commercials are holiday focused, featuring Santa’s elves and the iPhone that got sent to the Island of Misfit Toys.

Verizon isn't scared of AT&T; and its lawsuit, apparently. AT&T; has sued over Verizon's ads showing comparative maps of Verizon vs. AT&T; 3G coverage, stating the maps were confusing, but that hasn't stopped Verizon from airing a whole new series of ads. AT&T; has said that the maps used in the ads (shown above) confuse people into thinking that AT&T; has no coverage in those areas not marked blue. In reality, the maps indicate a lack of 3G coverage.
